| Size | 72,1 mm |
| Locality | Mozambique |
| Note | F+/F++ Very pretty design, granulose form (MOZAMBICANA), lovely caramel color and well sized specimen too. With a couple of natural incrustations on the teeth of the base, hardly seen, but nice extremities except, for the perfeccionists, there is a tiny roughness in the posterior right extremity (detectable only by running one’s fingertip very carefully over this extremity) which was, however, recovered by the animal’s own mantle. I suspect that those with less professional experience might not even notice this roughness at all! Anyway, it has a superb typical maltese cross design underlined by a pretty bluish color, and the general condition is very, very acceptable! The photos don't make justice to the beauty of this shell, because the light reflexions! Unobtainable nowadays, except for old collections, because there are no trawlers working in the area anymore! This is a perfect natural specimen, not polished, trawled by the Russian boats in the very nice old times of 90'! Unscrupulous dealers wouldn’t mention any defects and would assign a grade of F++ or likely even higher! The price is a real bargain, taking into account the quality of the specimen and the rarity of the species! If you aren’t willing to pay several thousands for a fultoni but still want a good specimen that is perfectly representative of the species, here is your chance! Don't miss it! Mozambique. The label with full data (location, habitat, collection technique and date) will be provided to the buyer. Trawled by the Russian boats in the very nice old times of 90'. CYP01395 |
