In depths greater than 200 metres west of Leeman we find limited numbers of gerondiosi. We find both typical colored specimens and near white shells. This albino was found being lugged around by a hermit crab in 218 metres of water west of Leeman during October 2026. It has a dorsal growth interruption and a broken lip. Virtually all dead collected specimens have broken lips which we attribute to the local champagne crabs trying to get better acquainted with the shells inhabitants.
