| Note | An interesting medium-sized, turriform shell displaying a pale ochre coloration adorned with conspicuous, discontinuous whitish axial striae. A characteristic feature of this species is the presence of wrinkles on the body whorl, which may sometimes be rather inconspicuous, even when the periostracum is well preserved. The aperture bears five denticles, none of which exhibits particularly distinctive features. Collected beneath dry leaves along the route to Ongamira, Córdoba Province, Argentina, in July 2008. A unique opportunity for collectors: the only specimen available! An intriguing addition to a specialist malacological collection, featuring documented locality data from Argentina. Do not miss the opportunity to acquire this uncommon specimen at international auction! |
