| Note | THIS IS THE REAL SPECIAL PATTERN EVER WOOOOW!! This one of the most elegant pattern we ever got with a extremely density of banding, all of this with "flowering" branched spines. This shell displays the most elegant fully striped banded pattern all around, irregular between thick and tiny multiple brown banding color with a white background color. The banding pattern is so dense going all around and inclusive in the shoulder spines and spire. Excellent branched Outstanding spines all around. Globose with elevated dorsum and short body shape. Large size with 92.1mm The best of the best for the species. F+++-Gem. This species is common in Mexico. Open sea Hexaplex princeps are generally 99.9% completely ugly with classic and usually dense erosion, missing spines all around, dense-deep large drill holes, no coloration or pattern, and thick calcareous organisms attached all around them almost impossible to remove, that is the common Hexaplex princeps. However, on very rare occasions and in very enclosed bays or lagoon mouths that are open to the sea, there are individuals with great condition, but finding them is always a mystery and really hard, believe me. With my years of experience and luck, I know of some places where they sometimes appear in ideal and striking conditions after many hours of work. Here I present this unique and unusual top selection for the species, choose your favorite in this great auction. For any MURICIDAE lovers of aesthetics and advancer collectors. Found attached on, under and between large muddy stones with oysters and mussels about 5m- 8m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. September 2026. Estimated value between 50-60 euros. Good luck and Happy shelling!!! MEXICO PACIFIC |
