Very pretty bataviensis found tucked up under a geodia sponge in 52 metres of water in the Geelvink Channel east of Geraldton During April 2026. Heavy flared shell with rich chocolate brown dorsum and prominent siphons. The shell has been bitten by a fish resulting in some damage to anterior labial selvage. The animal has subsequently healed the injury with a generous amount of additional nacre. This is indicated by green arrows in the photos. Started at 200 euro to allow the posting of four photos. Even so it is a very attractive shell that displays nicely. Fine+/Fine++.
