| Note | Large heavy shell with strong nacre gloss (40.4 grams). Profound rotund posterior extremity, glossy base with a short display of teeth in the anterior labral aperture and strong spotting on the columellar lateral and labral walls. The shell show a strong classic and distinctive teuleri highlighted rippling dorsal line. Collected by Scuba diver at 2-4 meters on muddy/sand between sponges and algae off Masirah Island, Oman, Arabian Gulf in the 90s. The shell has a subtle palpable roughness on the labral anterior tip. Grade: GEM minus. |
