| Note | Cymatium (Monoplex) macrodon (Valenciennes, 1832) 80.8 The well nacred shell features an elongated, spindle-shaped structure with a rich brown/orange coloured base. It possesses an elongated pumpkin orange aperture lined with prominent, highly visible white teeth or denticles. Russet brown body pigmentation with camel brown bands further highlight the impact. The shell was collected under rocks on Cebaco Island, Panama in 2/2004. The shell shows a growth fold on the anterior siphon. Grade F+++. |
