| Note | Inflated, mature, richly patterned and deeply nacred hard to find jeaniana classic. Superior dorsal, black/brown highlighted extremities and intense phenomenal side spotting on apricot/pastel peach lateral walls that highlight this elegant, moderately rostrated specimen with perfect extremities and aperture. An striking specimen with impressive gloss and shades of russet/chocolate brown/black accentuating the lovely base. The jeaniana shows a misty blue halo, apricot/beige margins with perfect extremities and dorsum. Lifted from a purple cup sponge while dining at 30 meters by Scuba diver Andrew Edinger north of Point Quobba, Cape Cuvier, Western Australia in 5/2007. Handwritten data slip from Andrew included. The big jeaniana presents with subtle blemishes on the base. GRADE: GEM minus. |
