| Note | A solid, highly glossed heavy shell with an oblong-ovate body with a short, broadly conical spire. The protoconch, spire and main body are intact. The aperture is wide, with four clean strong plaits and a thick natural lip. Great striping pattern and the columella shows a thick glazed nacre. A fine example with strong colours and patterns representative of the species. Dredged at 20 meters off Port Lincoln, South Australia. The specimen shows a series of growth folds on the mid-ventral, a fine fold dorsally with notable wear on the siphonal notch. Grade: F++/F+++. |
