| Note | One of the FINEST specimens ever collected of this extremely rare and highly coveted endemic South Australian species. EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY - PERFECTION. Beautiful colour: white ground, with pinkish tinge, decorated with diminutive squares of rich reddish caramel. Spiral bands of markings formed with rare perfection. Hypermature: solid, with marked weight and solidity, and greatly thickened, recurved and glossed apertural lip. A 'museum piece' of conchology. Size: 36 mm (length). Grading: Gem; w/o. Data: Off Reevesby Island, Sir Joseph Banks Group, Spencer Gulf, Eyre Peninsula, South Australia, Australia; upon reef substrate, in sand channel; 1-3 m; dived; 1994.
