| Note | CALYPTRAEIDAE - Crucibulum personatum (Keen, 1958). AMAZING RARE SPINY FORM!! This is not a Crucibulum spinosum but has some spines. Incredible first time I have ever seen with real tubular tiny elongated spines in some sides. Really unusual for the species, making of this unique. This species particularly are coming with the septum connected to one side of the wall. The ventral side shows a very brown-dark purplish with glossy effect and with white irregular curved septum. Dorsal side very elevated and robust with elegant spines between, brown color with exquisite brown-purple dark band going from lip to apex. Absolutely stunning beauty. Minor growth marks effect not really harming this beauty. F+++. Found attached between buried muddy stones about 6m to 7m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. September 2026.
