| Note | Remarkably inflated, solid, strongly rostrated, hyper-mature large specimen with a faint well buried dorsal line. Large fully glossed specimen, with a desirable pastel apricot/peach dorsal blotch and a large recurved posterior terminal. Excellent size to weight ratio, impressive symmetry with flawless extremities with a pastel peach pigmented base (113.9 grams). The armeniaca was captured by trawler off the Great Australian Bight, Port Lincoln, South Australia on sand substrate at 150-160 meters in 1998. The shell exhibits a micro-blemish on the columellar mid-dorsum. Grade: GEM minus. |
