| Note | For offer here is one of the rarest forms of Zoila in the entire complex. After the hot water event of 2011, the Zoila population on the central coast of W.A. was sent to near extinct level with complete kill-offs in areas of which it is unlikely that some species will ever return. In the past year we have discovered some very small populations of Zoila which have likely migrated over the past 15 years up from the deeper (40-60m depths) water nearby to diveable depths. Zoila finds from these areas are still extremely rare but the spectacular forms that can be produced make it worthwhile. This Z.rosselli has the SUPER THICK BLACK CALLOUS spread evenly throughout the base which pushes out to the FLARED base. The WHITE WINDOW is highly attractive with a single BLACK SPOT making for a UNIQUE APPEARANCE. The SUPERB SHAPE of this specimen really makes this EXTRA SPECIAL and something for any ADVANCED COLLECTION. F+++ with a single growth line on the dorsum and a complete re-heal attempt on the front canal (hard to see)-most would not consider a flaw, but I am being conservative. Live taken on a small purple cup sponge on low-medium limestone reef amongst short algae and sponges at 24m. North of Jurien Bay, Mid-Coast of Western Australia.
