At the end of July 2026 while relocating our vessel from Shark Bay to Geraldton we ran across a small reef in 98 metres of water a few miles southwest of Steep Point. We stopped and had a look with the ROV. We only found one shell but it was a screamer. Stunning jeaniana with a mauve brown chevron patterned dorsum, black base and spectacular cream gold sides with coarse black spots. Heavy mature shell with perfect siphons. Very large at 83.4mm. Graded Fine+++/gem- due very minor dorsal growth irregularity. Beautiful exceptional shell.
