NoteA interesting pale specimen of this rare volute, pretty pale orange pattern , perfect lip,protoconch complete, anterior canal,is complete. Live taken by trawler back in the days when the Taiwanese trawlers operated in shore in Australian water during the 70’s. From an old historic collection . Pretty shell with good lustre . Only faults is a small line on one whirl and what looks like an attempted drill hole near the spire. Drill didn’t penetrate the shell and is small.
