NoteCALLIOSTOMATIDAE - Calliostoma macandreae (Carpenter, 1857). VERY RARE SPECIES IN MEXICO WOOOOW!! Extremely hard to get live specimens as this one here. Almost impossible to get species nowadays. Exceptional sculpture and dense vivid pink color combined with white-brown spots pattern. Intact lip and seldom see perfect apex. Gem-F+++. For advancer collectors. See pictures. So hard to get in any conditions. Found attached under large stones with mud about 5m-6m deep. Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. May 2025. Value for this ultra rare species with fresh pink colors, unique pattern and awesome sculpture: 30-40 euro. Good luck and happy shelling. MEXICO PACIFIC
