| Note | SPECIAL DENSE BRANCHED SPINES SPLENDID BEAUTY!! Majestic Muricanthus radix with the most elegant Marvelous spiny and dense varices you will have and enjoy. Impeccable dense spiny specimen with intact spiny spire and beautiful apex, the shell displays a black but dominant brownish banding color between the light white background, the ventral side shows a impeccable aperture combined with sharp branched and wide lip spines. Superb selected masterpiece. Gem-F+++. Do not miss this unique opportunity to get this real top dark spiny masterpiece specimens in this special auction, very selected from many dives, very difficult to get and to clean them to reach this results, hours cleaning with ultrasonic scaler. The Muricanthus population in Barra de Navidad, Jalisco is unique, as the specimens are inside a lagoon with mangroves nearby and protected from currents, waves and directly sun light, most of them covered with algae and mud keeping their apex, spines and body generally with better conditions, something completely different from the populations in the open sea, with much damage to their shells-spines, fully with erosion, drill holes, really ugly and complete covered by very thick hard to remove calcareous attachments. Even so, these specimens here are incredibly hard to get with so much better conditions for the species as usual, with incredible shapes and spines. Without a doubt this masterpieces are a treasure for anyone who wins it. Carefully handpicked with years of experience and cleaned preserving its natural parts. It is much more impressive in your hands because of the details that you can't see in the photos.
