| Note | Beutiful (to me) example of this delicate species, collected by tangle nets set at 80-120 mt off Talikud Island in the Davao gulf of Mindanao by local fisherman. Circa 1995. Good size, delicate pinkish-orange color with dark pattern lines, F++/Gem quality. This shell with fragile wings, fished with tangle nets pulled out togehther with bottom corals / rolling rocks (I personally witnessed this in Balicasag Island), is as good as they can come. |
