| Note | Superb massive specimen with respectable pattern coloring, with strong violet overtonesn and excellent form and symmetry. The specimen displays moderate and aesthetic patterning dorsally, highlighted by intense pigmentation on the ventral and lateral sides, striking violet color toned suture rings on the spire and strong erect nodules on the body whorl. Heavy specimen of exceptional quality for the species and this size (131.2. grams). Larger specimens tend to be structurally banged up and typically war-torn. This specimen is in exceptional condition for its size. Collected by diver at 23-25 meters on hard reef between grass and algae off Hospital Point, Guam, Western Pacific in 2024. The specimen exhibits subtle concavity "hoof mark" on the columellar spire and a negligible erosion of the apex. Grade: F+++. |
