| Note | Excellent representative from this hard to find Indian Ocean species. The shell shows impressive lateral spotting on the wall and margins of the columellar side, with diffuse spotting the the labral. The specimen has perfect margins and base with a wonderful shades of British, sand and buff beige. The specimen was collected at 7-10 meters off Eilat, Israel, Red Sea by diver Dov Peled in a rocky coral cove on a night dive in 9/1984. Original data slip from Dov included. The specimen shows a mini-bulbous glazed growth dimple on the columellar posterior ramp and a mild vertical growth crease on the mid-labral lateral wall. Grade: F++/F+++. |
