| Note | One very nice live-collected specimen of Fissurella maxima with natural (lightly cleaned) dorsum (can be cleaned with some patience) and very small deffects as can be seen in the images, with some erosion around the foramen, but with no chips in the lip. This one is a huge specimen, with a thick shell and it looks great on hand. I have obtained just a few specimens larger than this one, and it is currently very very difficult to obtain giant specimens like this, as this species is heavily exploited. I will include a normal-sized specimen for the purchase of this one. |
