Hypermature, with markedly thickened shell walls, and pronounced marginal callosity. Rare locality. Impeccably curated across the decades, with as fresh an appears as if collected this year. Such Great Barrier Reef giants have not been freshly available for decades, and are now obtainable only from old collections. Data: Off Myora, North Stradbroke Island, Queensland, Australia; upon reef substrate, in coral crevice; 1-2 m; dived; 1977. Size: 98.1 mm. Grading: Gem.
