NoteAn EXCEPTIONAL large specimen of this very uncommon and beautiful high-altitude species. RARE QUALITY for this typically rough species, with fully mature, thickened apertural lip. The specimen was collected by Andean natives. Now difficult to obtain, especially at this level of quality and beauty. Data: Rioja region, Rioja Province, Department of San Martín, Peru; in primary rainforest, at 1200-1400 MAMSL, amongst leaf litter, after rain; January 2022. Size: 63.1 mm. Grading: Gem. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne.
