| Note | EXCEPTIONAL AND ELEGANT STRONG DEEP PURPLE INNER LIP COLOR FORM!! Large size for the species nowadays. This rough species are most hidden between live corals for protection but some of them when the corals grow fast, sometimes they get trapped and die inside-between the coral. This species is never Gem, here a really nice crazy extended and super wide aperture with the darkest purple inner lip color and original seldom seen original operculum. Great Wide, curved lip and irregular form, some erosion and drill holes around as usual for the species. Intact apex and natural lip. See pictures. F++-F+++. Found attached inside dead corals about 4-5m deep. Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. May 2026. Value for this seldom seen species with rare original operculum: 20-25 euros .
