NoteRARE MONSTER SIZE WITH AWESOME PERIOSTRACUM!! Monster WOOOW!! This specimen shows the thickest periostracum you will have combined with the highest nodules around the shoulder. Colossal giant size with unbelievable thickness. Extreme thick lip between the white shell and periostracum, massive elegant white aperture with original operculum. Some light purple color near the inner lip-parietal area. Great spire. Great species with the best conditions all round the shell body except for the absent apex, very usual for this species at this colossal giant sizes!! Hard to find with perfect thick periostracum!! Some drill holes inside and between apex, not really detracting the beauty and rare seen species nowadays at this giant sizes. Found between huge stones about 8-10m deep. Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. May 2026. Value for this seldom seen great Giant specimen with extra thick elegant periostracum: 45-55 euro. MEXICO PACIFIC.
