| Note | ARENEIDAE - Arene adusta (J. H. McLean, 1970). EXCEPTIONAL SELDOM SEE RARITY WITH EXCELLENT CONDITIONS! Look at this Marvelous masterpiece with the most thick and colossal lip combined with pearly aperture and the most seldom seen very rare original operculum. Aesthetic spotted pattern with fantastic granulate and thick ribs structure all around. Intact apex. Gem. Tremendous beauty with large size. Do not miss this special rarity. Three months ago, I placed a sack full of dead scallops with multiple holes in it at a depth of 10 meters, and when I pulled it out, I found small species—some common, uncommon and rare. It was a great experiment and a big surprise to find such tiny and varied species. Found inside dead oyster about 10m deep. Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. June 2026.
