| Note | An interesting and visually appealing shell displaying brown and gray spiral bands in multiple tonal variations, beautifully complemented by a striking orange aperture. Collected from forest leaf litter at an elevation of 460 meters above sea level in the Department of Meta, Colombia. A highly attractive lowland specimen with excellent display qualities and strong appeal for collectors of Colombian land snails and Andean malacofauna. Its distinctive coloration and well-preserved condition make it a desirable addition to any specialized collection. Reference: A. superba Marshall, 1926, holotype USNM 362863. |
