No longer freshly collected, and now obtainable only from old collections, and very seldom offered at this level of size and quality. Data: Mountainous forest region of Virac, Catanduanes province, Bicol region, Luzon, Philippines; in montane forest, upon soil substrate, amongst leaf litter, after rain, at 1000+ MAMSL; 1986.
