The outer lip (peristome) is glossy, well developed, and of an attractive beige coloration — a clear indication of full adult maturity, a characteristic becoming increasingly rare and highly appreciated in today’s international shell market. Recently collected from the leaf litter of a humid forest at 1550 meters above sea level in March 2026, this specimen originates from a region celebrated for its extraordinary biodiversity, although now increasingly threatened by logging and deforestation.
