NoteCALLIOSTOMATIDAE - Calliostoma macandreae (Carpenter, 1857). ULTRA RARE SPECIES WITH GREAT PINK AND PEARLY EFFECT WOOOOW!! Very rare !! Almost impossible to get species nowadays. This is one of the most patterned pink pearly you can get with exceptional sculpture and dense vivid pink color combined with white-brown spots pattern. Intact lip and seldom see perfect apex. Some pearly side not really detracting the beauty. F+++. For advancer collectors. See pictures. So hard to get in any conditions. Found attached under large stones with mud about 5m-6m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. July 2025. Value for this ultra rare species with fresh pink colors, unique exceptional pattern, and awesome sculpture: 25-28 euro. Good luck and happy shelling.
