Extraordinary ribs with the curvature form of the shell. Live fresh collected not dead found and the best conditions you can get for the species. Marvelous beauty! F+++-Gem. CARDITIDAE - Cardita grayi (Dall, 1903). Cardita grayi has a solid, elongated quadrangular shell, with the umbo located toward the anterior end. The shell has rounded radial ribs that are stronger at the posterior than at the anterior. The ribs become wider toward the dorsal edge and are crossed by growth lines. The inner surface is whitish. Found attached and buried under big muddy stones about 4-5m deep. Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. March 2026.
