One very nice and giant specimen of Scurria scurra. This limpet lives exclusively in the stipes of giant algae Lessonia, and it is often washed ashore among them. They very conical shells have a nice shape and this one is a little compressed. This is one of the largest specimens that I have obtained from northern Chile.
