| Note | RESPLENDENT JEWEL WITH MAJESTIC BANDING PATTERN!! This species are really deep in mud and most of the time are almost impossible to find them, with this type of hair (periostracum), they can camouflage themselves very easily between deep mud and algae. Seldom seen with this intact conditions. This here had an ugly periostracum and it was removed and this is the real result under the skin, an amazing radiant structure with light nodules on the dorsal side, the spire presents a kind of granulate form between, apex complete for the species. Fresh striking colors and the most elegant intact and perfect banding pattern. Prodigious striped columellar lip with black -brown background and white elegant stripes and the outer lip shows a very thick colossal lip and extended thick dark-white denticles. For aesthetic collectors. Gem. Found attached between stones about 6m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. March 2026.
