NoteA superb large specimen, collected over thirty years ago, from deep-water lobster fishing in Japan. Now difficult to obtain at this level of quality. The specimen was formerly in the renowned Thomas Honker collection, and the original 1992 Honker label accompanies the specimen. Data: Off Nada, Wakayama Prefecture, Kansai Region, Honshu, Japan; upon sand/mud/rubble substrate; 50-90 m; lobster net; 1992. Size: 127.4 mm. Grading: Gem; w/o. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne.
