| Note | An OUTSTANDING large specimen of the endemic South Australian angasi form – the most beautiful incarnation of the species. Exquisite subtle colour, in conjunction with a spectacular pattern, formed with rare regularity and clarity. Hypermature: solid and heavy; greatly thickened and glossed apertural lip. Not freshly collected for decades, and now obtainable only from choice old collections. A standout angasi for the Volutidae connoisseur. Data: Off Point Bolingbroke, Eyre Peninsula, South Australia, Australia; upon sand substrate, amongst ribbon weed, at night; 14 m; dived; 1998. Size: 92.1 mm. Grading: Fine+++.
