| Note | Malmok, Aruba, scuba diving at 4-6 meters deep, on sparse grass/sand bottom at night. Conus monicae is endemic to Aruba and occurs in a small seagrass area near Malmok, where it hunts at night. The only monicae I've ever had with a dark brown to black pattern! Please note that the shell has a polished lip. With operculum. For the Conus enthusiasts messaging me, sorry, I do not have any Gem or F+++/Gem specimens of this species anymore. They are hard to find in perfect quality. |
