Astonishing level of preservation of all ultra-fine, ultra-delicate, translucent varices; siphonal canal; and incredibly elongate varical tube; diminutive mammillate protoconch intact – PERFECTION. Painstakingly and expertly cleaned, with virtually none of the typical substantial encrustation which detracts from most examples. In a completely different league to the majority of specimens. A VERY RARE shell like this. A jewel for the advanced Muricidae specialist, or collector of truly exquisite seashells.
