| Note | VERY PROBABLY THE LONGEST LIP SPINES I HAVE EVER SEEN AND FOUND WOOOOW!! Giant size. The most extended lip spines you will see! The longest spines that this species can grow and develop. With extreme long form!! Look at this crazy long spines form, the first 3 row spines are really long , the rest are absent in the ventral side as usual for this sizes. Thick colossal lip , complete apex, great spire and long curved excellent long siphon. F++ maybe F+++. Extraordinary very high selection of superb Homalocantha oxyacantha with elegant long spines and wonderful sculpture with really giant size. Most of the open sea specimens are really ugly with several damage, no spines, erosion, absent apex and even spire, scars and simply impossible to clean with thick calcareous attachments. Inside the lagoon of Barra de Navidad there is a population with superb conditions but really hard to find, they camouflage between dense thick mud-algae and most of them are completely buried making almost impossible sometimes to find. Only for professional and advancer divers. Here you can admire a great spiny beauty's, choose your favorite in this great auction. For advancer collectors and lover of spiny shells. Found in muddy bottom attached between stones about 5-7m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. March 2026. Value for the one with the longest lip spines ever : 50-55 euro.
