NoteOne nice specimen of Tegula atra, the largest Tegulidae found in Chile. This specimen was collected by fishermen, and it preserves its original operculum, which is usually discarded. The shell is covered with a white calcareous algae, which can be cleaned with some patience. A low initial price for an interesting species from the southeastern Pacific.
