| Note | A remarkable large specimen of Pseudozonaria annettae measuring 44.59mm, featuring impeccable provenance. This shell was collected by the noted malacologist Constance Boone and is accompanied by her original, highly detailed data. Original Collection Label Text: 'Collected from under rocks at low tide at Beetle Beach, near Guaymas, Mexico, on Jan. 19, 1971, by Constance Boone. The mantle of the animal is brown with pink papillae and is thick.' Specimens of this size are rare, and such meticulous biological observations regarding the live animal’s mantle are seldom found in private collections. The shell exhibits a high-gloss finish, deep coloration, and prominent marginal spotting. A true museum-quality piece for the discerning collector. Shell No.: 450. GEM.
