NoteAn exceptional large specimen of Amoria hunteri, measuring 126.30mm. This is a rare vintage piece from the Boorman collection, trawled in 1969 off Cape Moreton at a depth of 30 fathoms. The shell exhibits superb pattern definition and natural luster. Due to changes in modern trawling techniques that now avoid the sea floor, specimens of this caliber and size are increasingly scarce and highly sought after by serious collectors.
