| Note | Deep colored, mature, dark patterned and richly nacred deep water, hard to find jeaniana classic. Superior dorsal blotch pattern, apricot/peach/brown highlighted extremities and exceptional spotting on apricot lateral walls hallmark this elegant, strongly rostrated specimen with perfect extremities and base. An outstanding specimen with impressive gloss and shades of russet/black/brown saturation of the base. Taken by Scuba diver Daniel Joyce in deeper water off Cape Cuvier, Carnarvon, Western Australia at 40 meters while on grazing on a grey ridge sponge in 8/2023. Hand written data slip from Daniel included. The shell shows no detectable or palpable imperfections. Grade: GEM. |
