| Note | One very nice specimen of Xanthochorus cassidiformis collected alive among rocks at low tide. This species is rather uncommon and their shells are found usually very eroded. This is a particularly nice specimen, with a higher number of axial ribs on the last whorl (more than double than normal X. cassidiformis), squamose sculpture, a nice pale pink color of aperture, and retaining its original operculum. A low price for an excepcional and endemic species from the SE Pacific |
