| Note | For sale is an exceptional and rare-sized specimen of Zoila venusta roseopunctata from the South Coast of Western Australia (Esperance/Hopetoun area). Beautiful deep pink dorsal background decorated with rich brown spotting. The margins show a delicate white-pink transition leading to a warm cream-yellowish base, typical of deep-water specimens.This is a mature, heavy, and calloused shell. It features natural growth lines and minor imperfections/pinpricks which are characteristic of large, wild-collected specimens from this region.The combination of the "rosea" color form and the rare 80mm+ size makes this a standout specimen for any high-end Cypraeidae collection also with the natural flaws described. The quality is conservatively graded as Fine++/+++ as a precaution, although these are strictly natural growth imperfections, this is a stunning specimen in your hand |
