Cribrarula fallax fallax - Mega Rare Colour !!! , (E. A. Smith, 1881)
Size
30.0 mm
Locality
Windy Harbour, W.A.
Note
Collected by abalone diver from the floor of a cave in 15 to 20 metres of water off Windy Harbour on Western Australia's south coast. A creamy tan coloured shell with no spots and china white base and siphon trim. This is one of very few albino specimens I have had the privilege to handle. This is not the antonellae subspecies. Type fallax is a far rarer shell and this is an albino to boot. Graded Fine++/Fine+++ due to some dorsal wear.
