NoteThese specimens are typically very large and heavy with huge flared bases similar to Bernier Island rosselli. This is a new population we have found and as far North that we have found the species. Few are collected and even less are in nice condition. This fresh dead specimen was collected from a sponge garden in 52 metres of water in May 2025 on a low limestone reef west of Red Bluff. Graded Fine due to algae and some silt inclusions to dorsum. Also the obvious healed break to flange and siphons.
