| Note | From old collection. Very heavy and solid shell with a thick, porcelain-like callus, deep cream to ivory white base, interesting "pallid" color form featuring delicate, light-brown spotting scattered along the margins and only few spots on lateral side. An exceptional, "Gem-quality" looking specimen with no cracks or breaks, both anterior and posterior siphonal canals are in perfect condition, sharp and fully intact. Unfortunately the specimen features a single, small "fish bite" on the lateral side, measuring approximately 5 mm in circumference. Trawled in the old times in about 120 mt. We grade as Fine++, but show really nice and you will happy with this rare shell in your hand. Weight 40 grams. |
