One interesting specimen of Fissurella limbata. Large specimens of Fissurella limbata are ALWAYS covered with Scurria scars (at least one in each specimen). They are rather rare and difficult to obtain. This species, as all the other large Fissurella species, is actively collected by fishermen so they often have nicks, chips, and damage on the border of the lip. This particular specimen has a rather small Scurria scar and no chips in the border, but the dorsum has some scars (as can be seen in the images), however it is a rare species, difficult to obtain in some seasons, so I am offering it at a very low price as a space-filler for a Fissurella collection.
