This is the species you always find with damage and very ugly. This rough species are most with dense erosion, scars and drill holes all around the spire, here I present you the most complete and almost intact Conus gladiator, with the best dark brown ventral display you can get with shoulder white decorated band spots and middle white elegant band between. The dorsal side changes to white-brown axial banding with spectacular effect. Thick intact lip and rare perfect apex. Spire superb nice with only micro scar otherwise Gem. Seldom seen so beautiful- F+++. Found attached on stones and near corals about 3m deep. Near Bahia de Piedras, Melaque, Jalisco, Mexico. January 2026.
