NoteOne very nice and selected specimen of Fissurella crassa. Large Fissurella species are actively collected by fishermen, so they often have nicks and damages on the border of the lip, and they are always found with scurria scars on the shells. This particular specimen is in very good condition for the species, as can be seen in the images.
